If you are a lover of great food, then you select with St. Martin & St. Maarten doubtlessly the right spot. This small island has probably the highest desnity of fine restaurants per square mile in the entire Caribbean. There are over 200 restaurants to choose from, and many provide the finest cuisine motivating visitors returning to the island again and again.

The French side is concentrating on European cuisine, mainly French and Italian, as well as Antillean cooking. Most of its fine restaurants are in Grand Case, the “Gourmet Capital” of the Caribbean, but there is also excellent dining in Marigot, Mont Vernon and French Cul-de-Sac area.

On Dutch St Maarten, mainly in Philipsburg and Simpson Bay, you will find a wide spectrum of cooking styles, international and ethnic food (French, Italian, American, Mexican, Indian, Jamaican, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai food.)
