We had a fabulous stay!

Get ready for the spectacular views!!
Walking out to the veranda and seeing Orient Bay for the first time from the villa was spectacular!! Our group of 8 could not have had a better experience on our week-long trip. The view, spaciousness, amenities, location…everything was amazing. We loved walking down to the beach (5 min), watching the sunrise and grabbing a quick swim before heading to Good Morning for croissants and lattes. Everything is convenient to the villa! The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed, and the bathrooms were fantastic. The kitchen was great for cooking and serving; we ate at the table for 8 outside and inside several times. We also used the outdoor grill once, worked just fine. The Jacuzzi tub does not get hot but does bubble. Our favorite gathering spot is overlooking the pool from the veranda in the four wooden side chairs around the square table. Many conversations were had there! The villa is a 10 minute drive to Grand Case, 15 to Marigot (and the grocery store U Spend) and 20 to the airport. Pro tip: turn off the water when you are done with the washer so it won’t drip 🙂 Overall, best 7 days of our lives!!!

Amazing Villa, great location!
Loved the convenience of being walkable to restaurants and Bikini Beach, which had great bars and gorgeous blue water. The amenities, including the pool and hot tub were top notch and really made the trip. Great views of the water from the house. I highly recommend anyone visiting the Caribbean to stay at Villa Méditerranée!!

A marvelous villa !
Fantastic location. Gated villa, very private. You have your own pool and garden. The villa very large and spacey and is in excellent condition. The view is out of this world. Walking distance to orient beach. A few minutes’ drive from Grand Case and Marigot, where the best restaurants and shopping are. The owner gave us his private tips for the best places to visit in St Martin, we tried several recommended places and they were outstanding. We had a fantastic time on the island and we absolutely loved this villa. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic Villa, Great Location!
Stayed in September 2014 — We had our fair share of great moments in this villa. The villa is spacious, secure and fresh as it is located on a hilltop overlooking the striking Orient beach. The house is tropically decorated and refreshing. Huge rooms and balcony. Plenty of attractions and activities to indulge in. We cannot thank you enough to the pleasant owner and staff who helped us big time.

We didn’t want to leave!
Stayed in August 2014 — We loved our week at Villa Mediterranee. The house sits up on a hill, the views are breathtaking and the property itself is quite lovely (especially the outdoor patios). It was the perfect vacation for me, my husband and our 3 adult daughters and their husbands. We spent our days down at the beach (only a 5 minute walk) and would return late afternoons to lounge around the pool and enjoy cocktails. It was wonderful to be able to “eat in” some nights – the kitchen is very traveler friendly and they even have a grill! All of the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Our week at Villa Mediterranee was probably the easiest and most relaxing family vacation we have had – thank you for sharing your beautiful property! Stephanie, Charlottesville, VA

Absolutely beautiful, can’t wait to go back!
Stayed in April 2014 — We just got back from our trip to St. Martin and all I can think about is planning our next trip back! My family has vacationed in St. Martin for several years, however, this was our first time staying at Villa Mediterranee. We loved it!!! It was absolutely perfect for our two families.
The children (ages 3 and 5) loved the pool area and we all felt very safe at night. The villa has a gate and security system. The view from the villa of Orient Beach is breathtaking!
All of the four rooms are very spacious and have everything you could want/need. The kitchen is also very spacious and looked to be updated recently. The hot tub was not working the week we were there, which was fine. The property manager and staff all were very nice and helpful. The owner, Alain, was also very helpful, sending us places he recommends and things to do.
Like I said, we travel often to St. Martin so we have our favorite places to go, especially traveling with young children. However, this time we ate at a couple of the places the owner, Alain, suggested and they were great! There is a little grocery store very close by that has a lot of things you may need, which we found very convenient. My husband and I have fallen in love with St. Martin and now we are enjoying building lifelong memories with our two girls. We love that we know the island pretty well and we love that you have the ability to take day trips over to Pinel Island, Anguilla and St. Barts.
This trip was amazing, from the Villa to the friendly people we encountered along the way. We cannot thank you enough for a great week!

Stayed in April 2014 — Previous guest have already identified what a great place this is. Villa is (as the crow flies) about 3 blocks up from the beach and at the start of a hill, thus we have a great view down to the water and the three surrounding small islands just off shore. In reality we have to walk two blocks down the hill (paved road) West, then three blocks North to the beach. Our maid came every day except Sunday at around 10 am and immediately went about cleaning and changing bedding and towels.
Positive: Excellent location based on a trade off of not being directly on the beach, but with a breath taking view. There was always a soothing breeze at this location. Quiet neighborhood. Very solid structure thus it was very quiet inside at night. Wireless Internet connection is very fast, but works faster if you bring along your own Ethernet cable.Lots of room for four couples. Big bedrooms with walk in showers. Excellent security system within our own large gated yard. Quick response from the villa manager on anything we had issues with. Very good maid service. WOW all bed linens and bath towels were changed every day. We always bring along a small 220 – 110-volt transformer to foreign countries, but we found this house has this large 20 pound 220-110 V transformer that nicely servicing our needs within outlets in just about every room. The house has an excellent air conditioning system with large modern individual units in every room.
Any and all negative items were quickly corrected by the local manager, other issues were address directly by the owner back in the states. Negative: The pool pump was Out Of Service, but the owner noted they are in the process of totally overhauling the pool system in the next few weeks.
General: Great luxury for four old naturist couples (two retired and two still working) from Wisconsin spitting the overall cost of this very grand accommodation. The owner is very informative towards answering any of your questions.

Best vacation ever!
Stayed in March 23, 2013 — Our stay at the Villa was outstanding. We were a group of 2 families and everyone, including the kids, fit comfortably in their bedrooms. We enjoyed all of the seating both inside and outside of the villa, the kitchen (super helpful when you have hungry kids), and the pool/hot tub. We stocked the kitchen early in the week (“Simply” grocery store is nearby) and many nights we would grill, play music, and have a pool party.
Most of our days were spent at the glorious beach (La Playa rocked!) and we all enjoyed the water sports. Highlights of the trip included: Captain Alan’s snorkel tour (2 thumbs up), dinner in Grand Case, shopping in Marigot, a beautiful sunset cruise to celebrate a family member’s birthday, and fresh baguettes, cheese & wine every day. Alain was wonderful to work with, the maid was efficient and sweet, and we even had a white cat visit us every day that we named “Sunshine.” We are all madly in love with St Martin and can’t wait to return.
Moreover, we will definitely rent the villa (which we lovingly called “the compound”) again because it exceeded all of our expectations! Thanks, Alain!

Fantastic Location will definitely go back!
Stayed in February 2013 — We just returned from our annual trip to St. Martin and absolutely loved staying at this location……..The home is great for three couples and is very well located on the island…….. If I had any negatives it would be the satellite television should offer more stations for Americans……only 3 English stations…. Other than that Incredible views and very nice accommodations…

2 weeks in January 2013
Stayed in January 2013 — My wife and i stayed at Villa Méditerranée for two weeks and our adult children joined us for part of the time. It was our 4th visit to Orient Beach and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Villa. The staff were very helpful and housekeeper was great. Walking to the beach and several of the Village restaurants was very convenient. The complimentary use of umbrellas and chairs at La Playa was a very nice benefit. There were only 3 English channels on the cable, CNN, ESPN and Disney. All in all a beautiful home with a stunning view of Orient Bay.

Awesome stay, spectacular villa – 3rd stay!!
Stayed in January 2012 — This was our 3rd time staying at the Villa Méditerranée. We stayed one week every year for the last 3 years. This place is a paradise and I can only say that you have to come and experience for yourself. The villa is walking distance to Orient beach and to the shopping centers and restaurants of the Village d’Orient. Everything you need is right here. The pool is awesome and very private. The view from the patio and veranda is spectacular: you can see all three islands of Tintamarre, Pinel and St Barth at the same time. The bedrooms are terrific but however my favorite is the upstairs bedroom, from which you have a view on the pool and the green preserve of St Martin. My kids loved every minute. Many thanks to the villa manager and staff for being so gracious and making our stay so pleasant!

Great Adult Vacation
Stayed in June 2011 — One of our best vacations. This was our first time to the island and thankfully we did not go wrong with the location. The villa is everything and more. Great views, great privacy and most of all good friends to enjoy it with. All 4 couples raved about how perfect the house was for their vacation. Staying in Orient Village is by far the best place on the island if you are looking to get away from high rise condos. The villa is close enough to the village to walk and we did so almost every night.

Everything you could want, and more.
Stayed in December 2010 — The villa was everything it is advertised to be. The pictures do not do it justice. The owner was a pleasure to work with. The location is fabulous as well. The best recommendation we can give is we are already planning a trip back and would never consider any other accommodations. We were a party of three couples and all of us thought the villa was marvelous.

An amazing stay
Stayed in November 2010 — My friends, my wife and I stayed there for 10 days. We had an amazing time. The villa is overlooking Orient Bay and is as gorgeous as the views! You are walking distance from the beach were you will find everything you need. From kite surfing to scuba diving or fantastic restaurants it’s all there!

Great Family Vacation! Exceptional Villa!
Stayed in October 2010 — My family and I had a wonderful time in St. Martin this past October! I had been once before a few years ago and stayed in an average hotel on the Dutch side, but this time was truly exceptional. The villa has ample space for a family of five (or even more) and is in excellent condition, and with the very helpful maid, we didn’t have to lift a finger! The grill by the pool is also a great feature – we picked up fresh fish at the market in Marigot for a delicious lunch. Thank you very much Alain for your hospitality and helpfulness!
